Neon Cuckoo Bee

Neon Cuckoo Bee (Thyreus nitidulus nitidulus) collecting nectar from Verbena bonariensis flowers.

An Australian native bee. Named Cuckoo Bee because it invades the nests of Blue-banded bees (Amegilla sp.) and lays its eggs in the brood chamber.
